Q: Will I have to do anything on my end to complete the transition?
A: No action is required on your end. Simply start using the updated links provided above in this article.
Q: What will happen to my domain name? Do I need to change anything?
A: Your domain name will not be affected. No action is required.
Q: Will my account information and product subscriptions remain the same?
A: There will be no changes to your account information or product subscriptions.
Q: Will there be any changes to the price of my services?
A: There won't be any price changes as a result of the transition.
Q: Will the settings on my mailboxes configured on mobile devices or email client software (e.g. Outlook, MacMail, etc.) need to be updated?
A: Your settings will remain the same.
Note: If you are using SiteMail Xchange (Open-Xchange) mailbox type - Sync or Collaborate with ActiveSync on your iOS or Android Mobile Device, you will need to update the server name, please refer to:
- Set up your SMX Sync or Collaborate mailbox using ActiveSync on iOS Mobile Device (iPhone, iPad)
- Set up your SMX Sync or Collaborate mailbox using ActiveSync on Android Mobile Device (Phones, Tablets)
Q: Will there be any interruptions of services (hosting, email, etc.) during the transition?
A: No interruption of service will occur.
